Nowadays, a majority of impoverished
people tend to look up to the people born with a silver spoon and they are
highly likely to feel discouraged and frustrated with the lack of components
for success such as financial status, family background and appearance. In this
essay, I will give an explanation for major contributing factors for success
and the prevailing prejudice.
First and foremost, the
well-off are considering themselves to be noble and superior. Thanks to their
affluent parents, most of them are inclined to work and study less passionately
since their prosperity can be guaranteed even without any efforts. To be honest,
it is not always applicable to every wealthy person.
On the other hand, I would like to point out a
good example with a story of a soccer player whose name is Ji Seong Park. When
he was young, he had to skip meals and do part time jobs for a living. Despite
his family’s unfortunate financial circumstances, he studied so
enthusiastically that he could enjoy academic achievement with scholarship
during his whole school days. What is more, he practiced playing soccer 5 hours
a day or the past 10 years by joining a club as a hobby. Eventually, he became
to be a renowned soccer player in the world by gaining fame and fortune at the
same time. Whilst the alleged secular successful factors cannot be overlooked,
the genuine successful life can be derived from self-devotion like him.
To conclude, while we sometimes encounter
significant hurdles that seem to be unbreakable, I firmly believe that people
are able to break those barriers and overcome the prejudice by working
passionately to lead meaningful success in the end.
