The given tables illustrate the changes of how much coffee and bananas which have fairtrade mark on are sold by euros from the year 1999 to 2004. It is clear that there are increases of the income by selling fairtrade coffee in every five countries shown in the table, in contrast to that three countries show the increase of the income from bananas. In the UK, the sales of fairtrade coffee soared about 13 times, which is the biggest rise. When it comes to coffee, every country in Europe in the table showed growth in the given period. The biggest increase was in the UK, and the smallest one is in Sweden. It is also remarkable that no country consumed more than Denmark among the five countries in 1999, but in 2004, the UK is the country which consumed most. As for bananas, there were growth in selling between the year 1999 and 2004 in Switzerland, UK, and Belgium, and fall in Sweden and Denmark. In particular, Belgium has recorded the biggest increase in sales of fairtrade bananas but the consumers in Belgium spend the third most for buying bananas.
