It's my first time reading thru this page. (only because I can't type in Korean here at work lol)
I'm an ICU nurse (cheers to my fellow nurses out there!) I work night shifts, 3days/week. 7 months in, I still don't know what I'm doing. LOL But I DO ask senior nurses if I have questions. So no worries.. I keep my pts safe. :)
Every night is different. Last night was a pretty easy night but somewhat interesting bc my patient is Korean. She was adopted to a white family when she was a baby. She has a brain damage. Part of her body is paralyzed. She's in a dying process. She is still in there. She understands me and everything, but she's just not going to get better.
I massaged her legs and hands, washed and combed her hair. (I usually don't have time for these but last night was slow) She just reminds me of my mom T T. I miss my family back in Korea.
