Undoubtedly, good health plays a
significant role in people’s daily lives in many of the places where they work
or play. Some people think that it is easier for people to maintain good health
then they were in the past, while others do not. Both sides may have their own
reasons to support their views. If I had to choose one, I would say that people
in current society tend to maintain good health than those in the past. There are
several reasons as follows. To
begin with, people’s quality of life has improved than the past, and then recently,
people can have enhanced their health than the past people. An increase in quality of
life makes people exercise more since they have a lot of free time. In addition,
a variety of exercise have emerged such as Yoga, Pilates. It leads people to
have interests in the new kinds of exercises. When people spend more time
exercising, they can build good health. For example, when my sister was in high
school, she was so busy with her school work and had a small amount of money. To
survive in a competitive world, she spent the whole day studying all academic
subjects, not exercising at all. As a result, she often sick although she was
young. However, she has changed little by little after she got a job. Since she
worked, she has felt relaxed and afforded exercise. She joined various sports clubs
and exercise regularly. Thus, she can recover and maintain her good health. Without
afforded money thanks to the improved quality of life, she would still have
been sick more often. All things
considered, the health of today’s people outdo that of past’s people for the
reasons I have mentioned above. All in all, this trend will continue and pass
down to the next generation.
