Nowadays, people can visit everywhere they
want because of the development of transportation system and technology. Among
many places that tourists can visit, more and more people want to tour the
places where conditions are difficult such as the highest mountains, coldest polar
areas and hottest deserts and so on.
Of course, there are many advantages of
visiting those places. First, people can feel a sense of accomplishment by
visiting the places where other people cannot easily access. The experience of
visiting such places can be a great asset in one’s life, and for people who dreamed
to be an explore in his/her childhood can achieve their goal by exploring those
areas. Also, travelling to those places can be a good option for people who want
to feel alone and have some time for relax since those remote places can give
people serenity.
However, there are certain drawbacks as
well. Among other things, unguaranteed safety is the most crucial problem. It
is likely that the places with few tourists are not well prepared for the
accidents or illness of the tourists who come from outside. Also, there are
certain limits for tourists to be fully prepared before they leave for those places because the information of such places is not enough relatively to other
tourist sites. Lastly, the fact that visiting those places can cause adverse
environmental effect to the places with vulnerable immune system also should be
considered as one of the disadvantages.
In conclusion, regardless of the advantages
abovementioned, I believe that visiting the remote and difficult places should
not be recommended because of many other disadvantages. It is necessary that
visitors to those places should be fully aware of those disadvantages and well
prepared for reducing such adverse effects. |
