The number of young adults exceed than those
who are elderly in some countries. In my opinion, although the old have enough
wisdom for living, it is significant that young people have positive impacts of
raising labour and giving birth.
One obvious advantage to having old people
in society is that they offer wisdom. Through their longer lives, they earned
more experiences within certain problematic situations. For example, the
conflict situation, poor relationship between people, and financial deficiency
are all what they are already experienced by proper solutions. Individually,
grandparents can help taking care of grandchildren when parents are working.
However, the high number of old people
instead of young people will decrease manpower. In society, commonly, from 15
to 65 years old are defined as an appropriate working age. Those people are
able to work properly for living and earning money for family. Young people are
physically enough to work and support their family and society to develop with
force of labour.
Finally, one of the best points of the
young is the ability of giving birth. The importance of population control is
always mentioned by several latest figures. As a human being, people should
give a birth to continue their history which have passed generation to
generation. Making offspring is the one of the responsibilities to control
population. This is unfortunately illustrated by some developed countries that
have low percentage of giving birth and high percentage of old people. As a
result, the population is dramatically decreasing and the productivity is
reducing, leading to bankrupt of the country.
In
conclusion, older people may provide wisdom to youngsters but the young have
more benefits to increase work force and productivity of population. |
