Some people argue that it will make convenient life of people, while others claim that it will have negative effects. This essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this issue in detail.
On the one hand, there are some benefits of genetic engineering. Firstly, the replicas of human improve the work efficiency in some companies. They that are the machines can work everyday. Actually, a survey of chiefs who are in the famous 100 companies in Korea indicated that 82 of people said that the speed and efficiency of working are increasing when the replicas work. Secondly, on these days, many farmers transform the genetic of potatoes. It is called GMO. When they made them by changing that, they can harvest more potatoes compared to the past when they do not use that way. Therefore, some people say that genetic engineering has positive effects.
On the other hand, there are several disadvantages of genetic engineering. First, if the replicas work instead of human, responsibility and confidence of human decrease, because they can think that the company do not need them anymore. It is related to maladjustment which means that people do not adjust to social. Second, people can have ailment such as obesity. Actually, McDonald's that is the most famous franchise company revealed that some children had obesity because of their French Fries which they made by transforming potatoes from negative additives of genetic engineering. Hence, some people insist that genetic engineering has the advantages.
In conclusion, several benefits and downsides of genetic engineering were considered above. In my perspective, the advantages overwhelm the disadvantages of genetic engineering. |
