It is
true that many famous tourist spots are overcrowded. However, while it is a
serious problem, it can be solved by limiting the number of tourist who visit
the places a day.
The
main issue with overcrowded visitors is the fact that environment at the spot
can be destroyed by them. Tourists sometimes become too excited to be careful,
so they can easily forget how precious the place is and destroy them without
intention. Nevertheless, there are some solutions to solve the problem. One of
the ways is limiting people’s number who
want to visit the site. It can be hard decision to the government because the
revenue from famous tourist spots is really big, so they might not want to miss
this big money. However, I firmly believe that limiting visitors number will be
a good decision not only for the destinations but also for the government. For
example, Boracay island was once one of the most beautiful island in the world,
so a lot of people visited the island unceasingly. Soon, the ocean and the
beach in the Boracay island became very dirty and the island was suffered from excessive
trash. Finally, Philippines government decided to close the island temporary
for around 6months for cleaning in 2018. By cleaning up all trash and giving
the island rest time to recover, the island can manage to retrieve the beauty
it used to have. Moreover, the government has decided to restrict the number of
visitors who want to enjoy the island, so that the island can maintain their
fame as long as possible without serious problems. Surprisingly, their revenue
from the island became bigger than before, because the fact that only limited
number of people can access the place makes the island not only cleaner but
also more mysterious and fascinating.
To sum
up, while it is apparent that many famous tourist sites are overcrowded, it can
be resolved by allowing only limited people to visit the place a day.
