There are divided views on the advantages of a relatively large number of young adults rather than the number of older people in some countries in modern times. Some people think that a large number of young adults is an advantage while others believe that increasing the population of young adults is a disadvantage in modern society. I will discuss what is the advantage of a large number of young adults and what is the drawback of this situation.
It is evident that some countries have a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of seniors. This situation has benefits of productive and economic in their country. For example, there are successful young owners in the world. In particular, the companies in the Internet and application field have succeeded and they lead huge IT industry and new cultures. Of course, employees in these companies are also young. I think having many young citizens in a country means lots of opportunities for them to start a new business.
However, there is a disadvantage in the situation that the number of young people is increasing and the number of elderly is declining. There is a big problem for the elderly’s unemployment rate. Nowadays most young people lead almost all industries, the elderly often lost their job because some young bosses often have a bias that older people are not needed for new industries. But they have various experiences and can give helpful advice to young people. In reality, many successful young people gain lessons from their big seniors. The reason is that when many people living in modern times decide the important determine, they always consider the historical experience in the past.
In conclusion, although having a large number of young adults is economic benefits in a country, older people also contribute as a useful adviser to society. Thus, I believe that since young people make a convenient society but older people make a society in depth, this situation is both benefit and drawback.
