The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given two pictures provide comparison of Grange park between 1920 and today.
In general, a fountain in the middle of the park in 1920 was replaced by a rose garden with 4 seats where people can get some rest associating beautiful roses. In addition an amphitheatre for concert today substituted for stage for musicians in 1920, which more fits with today’s public trend.
On closer inspection, it is noticeable that there are some replacements. On the northeast side a rose garden and pond for water plants were replaced by a cafe and children’s play area. Besides, a rose garden on the southwest side were removed for amphitheatre to be more spacious. Glass house in 1920 was substituted for(for이 아니라 by로 했어야 됐네요ㅠ) water feature where visitors can feel the coolness of the water. Furthermore, all the seats are gathered around rose garden unlike the park in 1920 where seats were located in all the sides.(곳곳에 라고 표현하고 싶었던 말인데 in places 또는 in every sides, quarter? 정도로 표현하면 맞을까요?) On the other hand, entrances from ARNOLD Avenue and ELDON Street are located at the same place however, one more entrance was added underground car park.
