These days, A number of women work in the workforce. However, only a few women remain in major positions. While it is a serious problem, it can be solved by promoting the awareness of the gender. The main cause of the decrease in women's senior positions is the majority of men's thoughts about gender inequality. Most men in the workplace tend to think they are much superior to women's ability. This normally makes women disappointed with the performances of their work. In South Korea, for example, women have considerable difficulty in having a long leave to have and raise their babies. As a result, this leads to giving up their job. This demonstrates that gender discrimination have a strong impact on women's job positions. However, there are solutions to this problem. The one way to solve this issue is to promote the awareness of gender equality. In addition, this issues can be resolved to give women enough time to have and raise babies. For instance, women who receive enough leaves from work would make a better performances with their project. As a result, they can get promoted to higher positions. This shows that giving equal opportunities to women is definitely crucial.
