Overall, it is clear that the average
proportions of three types of nutrients in dinner possessed more than one-fifth
of total amount. Moreover, the public in the USA mostly consumed added sugar
for snacks.
Looking at the
charts more closely, one can see that the average consumption of nutrients in
dinner ranked the highest except for added sugar. The average percentage in
snacks has the largest portion of added sugar of 42 percent. People in the USA
consumed same percentage of 14 percent of sodium in breakfast and snacks. The
average percentages in breakfast of given three figures were similar to each
other which were about 15 percent. In lunch, people in the USA ate more sodium
than other nutrients.
