Some people might argue that jobs with high salary and less vacation are better than jobs with more vacation less money. However, in my opinion, I definitely believe that jobs with more leisure time are better for the following two subsequent reasons. First of all, what I want to mention is that workers who have a plenty of spare time have much more chance to improve their abilities and to broaden their point of view. This is because vacation offers us opportunities to study. To give you an idea, here is an example from my father's experience. When he was in the late 20s, he decided to get the position that offered more vacation, but less salary than other jobs. At this time, he had enough time to go to workshops on what he wanted to learn about. So these experiences were beneficial to broaden his insight. In the end, he became an outstanding person in his field than a person who earns a high salary and less vacation. So he was able to lead in his field. without much more vacation, he could not get a great career. Second, in today's world, it is becoming more important to get time to refresh the mind and their body for a duration for work. A large number of workers get a stressful in their workplace due to the competitive atmosphere and heavy workload. Therefore, they tend to exhaust their own energy along with recurring overtime work. I will take my cousin's case as an example, she engaged in the major corporation and she got a high salary. However, she had to work at late night to deal with heavy workloads. Not only that, but she had a few vacations per year. It wasn't long after working for 3 years that she wasted her energy. So, she had no choice but to stop in her career. I strongly believe that In terms of maintenance of career, between work and vacation's balance is important. To sum up, A job with more vacation allows us to improve our ability and to get a variety of experience. Also, it helps to harmonize our life between work and vacation. In this regard, I feel it is much better to get a job with more vacation than high salary and less vacation. |
