Q1. Are you a student or do you work?
A1.
I am a student.
More specifically, I’m a university student.
I’m a senior at Hackers University, and my major is Computer science.
I will graduate next year.
Q2. Why did you choose your major?
A2.
Because I have had a lot of interests in computer science since I was a high school student.
In high school, I made a coding club and did some projects using Arduino.
And It was really fun and worthwhile.
So I decided to learn more about coding.
Q3. What is the best thing about your job? = Software Developer
A3.
I think the best thing about my job is, It can be easier to get a job than other jobs. Because there is great demand for developers. These days, everything needs a program.
So plenty of job opportunities are the best thing, I think.
Q4. What do you not like about your job?
A4.
One of the bad things as a developer, is that I can’t stop studying. Because software development industry changes really quickly. So if you got a job but you stopped studying anymore than you can’t have any competitiveness in the industry. That’s a hard thing I think.
Q5. What do you learn while studying your major?
A5.
It might different school by school, but in our university, I learn the course which more concentrate to theory more than practice.
For example, I learned Algorithm and data structure, and light c++ techniques.
Also, our course has subjects about AI.
